Teotihuacan

This colour has captivated me since art school - and ever since I saw Pre-Columbian scultures painted with this particular hue. It is close to Mayan blue - but has a bit more of a greenish tinge. There are legendary (and gruesome) tales of these two types of blue - originally made from an indigo plant, clay and resin - and which created a very permanent blue pigment. Teotihuacan combines shades of mayan blue, greenish teals and golden tones in a dleicious tealy-turquoise mix - I hope you enjoy it!Care Instructions: For long term fibre and colour care a gentle, PH neutral detergent (preferably natural/organic) and cold water rinse is recommended. Refrain from excessive wringing. Dry flat, avoiding prolonged exposure to harsh sunlight.
