Lamassu is a deep, aged gold inspired by the beautiful Assyrian lamassu sculptures - these were large, winged hybrid creatures that were often placed at entrances. Lamassu were seen as representing the zodiacs/constellations and signifying intelligence, strength and freedom - my first introduction to them was on a childhood postcard from my father as he travelled through Europe.
Warm rich tones of wild honey, rose gold and a hint of copper combine in this colourway which pairs well with Mayan Maize.
Care Instructions: For long term fibre and colour care a gentle, PH neutral detergent (preferably natural/organic) and cold water rinse is recommended. Refrain from excessive wringing. Dry flat, avoiding prolonged exposure to harsh sunlight
