It only took me a few years to figure out how to cultivate dahlias - but once I did, they quickly became a favourite...particulalrly the darker shade of blooms. The deep, velvety reds and magentas are seductive - their baroque drama continues well into the faded flower heads. This colourway combines shades of deep burgundies in a richly layered colour.
Please take extra care with this colourway - forgoing long soaking periods and only using cold water - 'justaquickwash' or soak. Deep red and magenta dyes are prone to bleeding, and although I take extra care whilst dyeing these, they would benefit from a little extra attention and attentiveness.
Care Instructions: For long term fibre and colour care a gentle, PH neutral detergent (preferably natural/organic) and cold water rinse is recommended. Refrain from excessive wringing. Dry flat, avoiding prolonged exposure to harsh sunlight.
